Better Choices for PA Coalition Press Conference

Members of the Better Choices for Pennsylvania Coalition will call on state lawmakers to take a balanced approach to the state budget rather than relying on deep cuts. With Congress’ failure to extend FMAP funding, the state is now facing a budget gap of more than $1 billion. If lawmakers cut that much out of the state budget, it will cost 25,000 jobs in the public and private sector, threatening the fragile economic recovery.
